On Saturday morning finally when i had some spare time i decided to go for a surf. Instead of starting to restore the surfboard i just wanted to go spend some time with mates out in the water. When waking up at 6am on a Saturday morning is not a good start to a weekend as i was already tired from the day before. But once i got down there i was itching out of my skin to get out there and get a few waves. I decided to take out one of my newer boards which is very short and has just been unveiled to surfing culture. At the start i was finding it quite difficult but i finally got the hang of it and ended up getting a little barrel. One of the good moments when surfing out there with my mates was when i pulled in to a barrel and they were paddling on the shoulder of the wave and the were hooting me the whole way!! So hopefully this week i would be able to finally get started on my old Mal.
